Discover 10 Farm Candy Delights in NYC’s South Street Seaport

Picking my ten favorite products at Farm Candy is like asking a kid to pick out only one piece of candy at It’s Sugar. When children read our sign and come running excitedly into the store, they quickly learn we are not a “candy store,’ but a store that creates candy from the earth, products that are made with the freshest, locally sourced, organic ingredients and free of any preservatives, fructose, or sucrose.

Here are my Top Ten Favorite Farm Candy Products:

Artichoke Antipasto use as a pasta sauce or over-chicken for a one-pot meal that makes you look like a trained chef.

Black Olive tapenade On crackers, with cheese or to dress a piece of grilled chicken or salmon.

Garlic Rosemary Mustard Not sure another mustard uses as much pure mustard seed as we. Your sandwiches will thank you for this one.

Ketchup One taste and you will know this is not your store brand ketchup. Absent of the corn syrup and the freshness of our ingredients will introduce to ketchup the way it was intended to taste. ** Wasabi Ginger Pear Balsamic Vinegar** Don’t be scared, we achieve the perfect balance between the wasabi and pear making it good enough to use alone on your salads. ** Habanero Pepper Jelly** For the person who can candle the spice. Great on cheese, or schmear it over a whole chicken and bake to make an incredibly tasty meal.

Dark Chocolate Pink Himalayan Salt Chocolate Bar
It tastes as beautiful as it looks. Each bite is an experience. Meyer Lemon Olive Oil – One of our best sellers. Perfect alone to dress your favorite salad or with one of our vinegars.

Strawberry Sriracha Sea Salt The strawberry flavor helps temper the big kick, but its flavor is bold enough to sprinkle on your favorite food or to cure your meat before your grill.

Delicate Arbequina Olive Oil The smooth texture and clean taste is the perfect base to any seasoning.

Come down and try my ten favorite things, and let me know how they compare to yours!

I hope you appreciated this article. Before you go, I’d like to ask you to please support the Forward’s award-winning journalism this Passover.

In this age of misinformation, our work is needed like never before. We report on the news that matters most to American Jews, driven by truth, not ideology.

At a time when newsrooms are closing or cutting back, the Forward has removed its paywall. That means for the first time in our 126-year history, Forward journalism is free to everyone, everywhere. With an ongoing war, rising antisemitism, and a flood of disinformation that may affect the upcoming election, we believe that free and open access to Jewish journalism is imperative.

Readers like you make it all possible. Right now, we’re in the middle of our Passover Pledge Drive and we still need 300 people to step up and make a gift to sustain our trustworthy, independent journalism.

Make a gift of any size and become a Forward member today. You’ll support our mission to tell the American Jewish story fully and fairly.
