The graffiti painted on The Rock in the center of campus read: “Jews did 9-11. Google: Dancing Israelis.”
Days later, hundreds of students wearing T-shirts or hoodies in red, a school color, displayed “unity against hate.
Police are investigating the episode at the Lower East Side’s Mesivta Tiferes Yerushalayim as a possible bias incident.
The graffiti on the Adath Israel Synagogue building in Newtown was removed and painted over Saturday morning prior to the start of Shabbat services.
In response, students of the school created chalk street art to spread messages of love and acceptance.
“Why have Jews been kicked out of 109 countries?” was also written on a bridge in Santa Monica.
The message was spraypainted in red on the Kotel HaKatan, or “little Western Wall,” a section of the Western Wall located in the Muslim Quarter
