Yaacov Yadgar is a professor at Oxford University whose research revolves around issues of political theology, nationalism, secularism, and tradition, as well as Zionist ideology and Israeli theopolitics. He is the author of the forthcoming book To Be a Jewish State: Zionism as the New Judaism.
