Join the editor of the Yiddish Forward Rukhl Schaechter on Sunday, January 6 as she gives a lecture, in Yiddish, on the topic, “The History of Gefilte Fish.”
She will explain how and why this and other Ashkenazi dishes changed dramatically among the East European Jews who immigrated to America.
The event will take place at 1:30 p.m. at the Sholem Aleichem Cultural Center.
Entry is free to members and $5 to others.
