Goldman Family Not Happy That The Juice Is Loose

After news broke that O.J. Simpson would soon be released from Nevada prison after serving nine years for armed robbery, the family of murder victim Ron Goldman denounced the decision as justice gone wrong.

“He became exactly who he normally is, and I started to panic a little and obviously like everybody else we watched them unanimously willing to release him and it was very disappointing,” sister Kim Goldman told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Friday, after a parole board agreed to his freeing.

Goldman’s brother Ron was killed in 1994, along with Nicole Simpson Brown, the ex-wife of O.J. Simpson. Simpson was tried and acquitted for murder, and later ordered to pay a multi-million-dollar civil settlement to the Goldman family.

Simpson was subsequently found guilty of armed robbery, in a 2007 Las Vegas incident in which he held up a sports memorabilia dealer he said had stolen his items. He was sentenced to prison for 33 years, but became eligible for parole this year, after having served nine years of his sentence.

He will be released in October, and will remain under correctional supervision while on parole.
