Ivanka and Jared Will Go With Trump On Controversial Pittsburgh Trip

Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner reportedly will go to Pittsburgh on Tuesday afternoon with President Trump, CNN reported.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said in a press briefing Monday that the president and first lady are traveling to Pennsylvania on Tuesday. They’re expected to arrive at the Pittsburgh airport at 3:45 p.m., the New York Times reported.

Trump’s daughter and son-in-law reportedly convinced the president to visit the city, following the mass shooting at a local synagogue, which killed 11.The Jewish couple also reportedly urged the president to share a powerful statement condemning anti-Semitism.

Pittsburgh Mayor Bill Peduto and other leaders are snubbing the trip, saying Trump should wait until after the victims are buried.
