Anti-Zionist Orthodox Head To D.C. In Support Of Ilhan Omar

Neturei Karta, an international organization of anti-Israel Orthodox Jews, organized a trip to Washington, D.C., to defend Representative Ilhan Omar against claims that her comments have been anti-Semitic.

The group went Wednesday, the organization tweeted, and included rabbis and their congregants. It claims the freshman Minnesota congresswoman was “unjustly accused by AIPAC as anti-Semitic.”

Neturei Karta believes that the State of Israel does not belong to Jews until the Messiah comes, per the Torah.

Last month, she implied that American Israel Public Affairs Committee was bribing U.S. politicians to support Israel. Last week, she made a comment that came off as accusing Jews of dual loyalty.
