Stars Celebrate Hanukkah
A variety of Jewish celebrities are observing Hanukkah with the masses this year. A new Web site, chanukahwiththestars.com, features video segments with actress Tovah Feldshuh, boxer Dmitry Salita, Minnesota senator Norman Coleman, musician Matisyahu and others.
Each broadcast includes an interview with a star and a candle-lighting ceremony. A different video will be posted each night of Hanukkah. The brainchild of New York City rabbinical student Berel Lerman (who is hosts the Web site kabbalahcast.org), the Web site features audio files with Hanukkah songs and lyrics, latke and jelly doughnut recipes, a general “how-to” section for the Festival of Lights and the celebs’ video bloopers.
