At a memorial ceremony in Jerusalem marking the 11-year anniversary of the 9/11 attacks US ambassador to Israel Daniel Shapiro said “an Iran armed with a nuclear weapon is an unacceptable threat” and that the US “will not permit it to be realised”. Shapiro along with ambassadors from around the world and members of the families of the Israeli victims of 9/11, held the memorial at a monument created for the victims on the outskirts of Jerusalem.
