בײַ ייִדן וויצלט מען זיך, אַז עקשנות איז אַ מעלה, אָבער אַ מאָל גייט מען טאַקע איבער דער מאָס. אין דעם אינטערוויו, אַ טייל פֿונעם פּראָיעקט פֿון געשיכטע בעל־פּה בײַם „ייִדישן ביכער־צענטער‟, דערקלערט דער ייִדישער שרײַבער מיכאל פֿעלזענבאַום די אומדערוואַרטע סיבה, פֿאַר וואָס אַבֿרהם סוצקעווער האָט ניט געדרוקט זײַנע לידער אין „די גאָלדענע קײַט‟, ניט געקוקט אויף דעם, וואָס ער, סוצקעווער, האָט פֿון זיי געהאַלטן.
אין אַ צווייטן אויסצוג פֿונעם אינטערוויו דערציילט פֿעלזענבאַום וועגן זײַן שטעטל אין זימבערג, רומעניע, וווּ ייִדן, ציגײַנער און רומענער האָבן געוווינט בשכנות אין די 1950ער יאָרן, פּונקט ווי אַמאָל ערבֿ דער צווייטער וועלט־מלחמה.
