California Democrat Adam Schiff is pushing forward with his mission to expose Russian involvement in the recent presidential elections.
Schiff, the ranking Democrat on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, tweeted Wednesday an update on this effort on Wednesday, making clear he and committee chairman Republican Devin Nunes are expecting to receive all relevant documents from the intelligence community.

Though Donald Trump and his presidential campaign are not mentioned by name in the committee’s release, Schiff and Nunes made clear their investigation will look at the possible political beneficiaries of the Russian hacking. The goals of the investigation include “any intelligence regarding links between Russia and individuals associated with political campaigns.”
