Patriots Owner Invited Family Of Boston Teen Slain In West Bank To Super Bowl

Patriots Owner Robert Kraft treated the family of Ezra Schwartz, who died in 2015 in Israel, to seats at last week’s Super Bowl.
“Robert Kraft invited my sis and her family to the superbowl. He called them and invited them as vip guests… flights included,” wrote Rachel Deri in a message to OnlySimchas, a positive news site. “What a great turn-around and win for Kraft’s Patriots… bc of his mitzvahs and good heart!” she added, crediting the team’s come-from-behind victory to Kraft’s deed.
Photos on Facebook corroborated the story, showing the whole Schwartz family – parents Arie and Ruth with children Mollie, Hillel, Elon and Avi — at the game. Ezra Schwartz, who was 17 when he died, was apparently a Patriots fan, too. He was slain while delivering snacks to Israel Defense Force troops in Gush Etzion, a settlement area in the occupied West Bank.
