New York Times Opinion Page Passed on Dylan Farrow Letter Accusing Woody Allen

The New York Times opinion editors reportedly refused to run Dylan Farrow’s open letter accusing her adoptive father Woody Allen of sex abuse.
Politico reported that the Op-Ed page bosses passed on the explosive letter, which was later published on Nicholas Kristof’s blog.
Kristof, a close friend of Farrow’s mother Mia, decided he would run the letter, in which Dylan Farrow claims that Allen “sexually assaulted” her when she was 7 years old.
Eileen Murphy, the Times’s top spokesperson, told Politico “the piece ran where we felt it was most appropriate,” without elaborating.
Since the letter was published, the Gray Lady has found itself in the middle of the Allen family feud. Woody Allen hass asked for a chance to respond and Andrew Rosenthal, the Times editorial page editor, has indicated he may publish such a piece.
