Trump Advisor: Don’t Bug the Donald To Denounce Anti-Semitism

Donald Trump’s real-estate-lawyer-cum-Israel-advisor doesn’t think Trump should be continually pestered to disavow his anti-Semitic backers.

“He has a campaign to run, he has an election to win, and he can’t keep going around saying I denounce anti-Semitism,” said Jason Greenblatt, chief legal officer of the Trump Organization and an advisor the Trump campaign, on the New Jersey Jewish radio program JM in the AM. “He has said it clearly, emphatically multiple times.”

Greenblatt, to whom Trump deferred on questions relating to Israel during a meeting with members of the Jewish press, said that Trump has already condemned anti-Semitism

“I do not think that Mr. Trump can be responsible for people that are anti-Semitic that support him,” Rosenblatt said. “It really bothers me that people think that he constantly has to repeat statements he has said before.”

The Anti-Defamation League announced June 1 that two Jewish reporters who have been the subject of anti-Semitic attacks by Trump supporters would join a new task force to investigate online anti-Semitic harassment.

The June 1 interview was first reported by Jewish Insider’s Jacob Kornbluh.

Greenblatt told JM in the AM host Nachum Segal that he would accept a job at the White House if Trump were to win, but only if he could keep his job at the Trump Organization.
