Michael Cohen Taunts Stormy Daniels Over Lawsuit
Michael Cohen, President Trump’s personal lawyer, joked in a recent interview about the ongoing litigation he and Trump have with porn star Stormy Daniels, suggesting he might use winnings from the case to take a long trip.
“The more I’m thinking about it, I might even take an extended vacation on her dime,” he told Vanity Fair.
In response, Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti tweeted, “Mr. Cohen should ensure he makes REFUNDABLE reservations for that extended vacation he is planning on my client’s dime…..”
Daniels has taken Cohen and Trump to court in an attempt to end a nondisclosure agreement that is alleged to be compelling her silence about an affair between Trump and her over a decade ago. Trump has denied the affair.
Avenatti claimed that Daniels was “physically threatened to stay silent” about the Trump affair. Cohen responded that not only did he not threaten Daniels, but he has never even spoken to her.
