The June 2 article “Democratic Fight Looms Over House Intel Post” incorrectly stated that Rep. Henry Waxman “suggested” it was time for Rep. Jane Harman to step down from her intelligence committee post. It should simply have stated that Waxman declined to endorse her push for another term on the committee, while praising Rep. Alcee Hastings.
