Paula Abdul Still a Party Girl at 50

How time flies when you’re dancing, judging TV shows and dating hot younger men!

Comeback queen Paula Abdul turned 50 this June, and Page Six reports that the Laker Girl-turned- pop icon celebrated in Las Vegas with boyfriend John Caprio, 40. After Abdul and friends ate sushi platters at Tao, they headed to the VIP sky-boxes, where the club surprised her with a 3-tier cake and a DJ spinning her classic jam, “Straight Up.”

Abdul stood and waved to fans as they sang along and cheered.

“It’s a huge birthday for me! I’m excited about it,” she told a reporter at Las Vegas Weekly.

Though Abdul has announced she’s not returning to be a judge on X-Factor, we at the Schmooze wish her the best. Happy Birthday, Paula! Here’s to 50 more years of following your zany career.
