Who Said it — Bernie Sanders or Some Rando Jewish Sage?

Presidential candidate Bernie Sanders usually keeps his Jewish identity on the down-low. He sometimes describes his parents as Polish, not Jewish, immigrants. His campaign won’t confirm his stint on a kibbutz in the 1960s. At most, he’ll allow that he expresses his Jewishness by finding common cause with the oppressed.

Well played, Bernie. Indeed, Jews for Bernie created an online quiz to illustrate how hard it is to differentiate between Sanders’ aphorisms and those of 18 Jewish sages.

Here’s an toughie:

“We are living in a world which worships not love of brothers and sisters, not love of the poor and sick, but worships the acquisition of money.” Who said it? Bernie or or the Prophet Elijah?

Take it and see how you score.
