If You Do Anything Today, See Seth Rogen Reclining on This Corned Beef Sandwich

We are still recovering from the glory that is Hot Dudes and Hummus and now we have another random but delicious Instagram account dedicated to celebrities on sandwiches.

The brainchild of Los Angeles-based artist Jeff McCarthy, the prints feature watercolors of caricatured celebrities sitting on top of many different types of sandwiches and are available for purchase for only $30. We are not sure why one would want a poster of Seth Rogen reclining on a corned beef sammie, but we’re pretty sure it would light up any room.

Here are some of our favorite Jewish celebs:

1) As the world’s most famous male model, Derek Zoolander (Ben Stiller) usually eats an air and ice cube sandwich. Maybe that’s why he looks so surprised to be sitting on top of some bologna and cheese.

2) James Franco on top of a fluffernutter? Yes to both, please.

3) Something tells us if John Goodman’s “The Big Lebowski” character didn’t roll on Shabbos, then he definitely would not have eaten a cheeseburger.

5) The sweater. The hair. The corned beef perfection. Seth Rogen for president.

6) For some reason, we see Bernie Sanders as more of a classic reuben sandwich, but sure, we’ll accept this adorable meatball sub sketch.

This is a moment of great uncertainty. Here’s what you can do about it.

We hope you appreciated this article. Before you go, we’d like to ask you to please support the Forward’s independent Jewish news this Passover. All donations are being matched by the Forward Board - up to $100,000.

This is a moment of great uncertainty for the news media, for the Jewish people, and for our sacred democracy. It is a time of confusion and declining trust in public institutions. An era in which we need humans to report facts, conduct investigations that hold power to account, tell stories that matter and share honest discourse on all that divides us.

With no paywall or subscriptions, the Forward is entirely supported by readers like you. Every dollar you give this Passover is invested in the future of the Forward — and telling the American Jewish story fully and fairly.

The Forward doesn’t rely on funding from institutions like governments or your local Jewish federation. There are thousands of readers like you who give us $18 or $36 or $100 each month or year.

Support our mission to tell the Jewish story fully and fairly.
