Yes, it’s safe to say that we’re very excited for the long-awaited release of the sequel to Disney-Pixar’s 2013 hit, “Frozen.” The wintry adventure was a smash hit — the highest-grossing animated film ever, not to mention the 13th biggest movie of all time, according to Variety — and it’s not like Disney to sleep on a guaranteed cash cow (or cash reindeer.)

Finally, there’s a teaser trailer and a premiere date, November 22, 2019. The geniuses behind “Let It Go,” husband and wife team Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez are back, as is director-writer Jennifer Lee. But don’t be fooled. Our friends in Arendelle still haven’t recorded voice acting or likely finalized much — according to Variety, Lee is still in talks with actors Evan Rachel Wood and Sterling K Brown to play voice parts. The trailer, conspicuously, has no voice acting or solo singing — just a choral moment.

Hurry up, “Frozen II”! In the time we’ve been waiting for you to arrive, that ocean Elsa tries to run across has risen significantly.
