Two Attacks Near Hebron Leave 3 Injured, Assailant Dead
Three Israeli Border Police officers were injured in a car ramming attack near Hebron.
The attack at the Beit Anoun Junction in the West Bank on Sunday injured one officer seriously and two lightly. The car continued driving after the attack and officers opened fire on the vehicle. Israeli military and police forces were searching the area for the driver, according to the Israel Police.
Earlier on Sunday, a Palestinian man was shot and killed at the same junction after he attempted to stab the officers there, the IDF said. The attack occurred during what the IDF said was a “violent riot” in Hebron.
