NY-12 Candidate Forum 08102022.mp4 from Temple Emanu-El Streicker Center on Vimeo.
After years as colleagues in Washington, Jerry Nadler, representing the West Side of Manhattan, and Carolyn Maloney, representing the East Side, are facing off in a rare incumbent-vs-incumbent primary on August 23 sparked by redistricting. Also vying to represent the newly-drawn 12th district is attorney Suraj Patel, who came within 3 points of beating Maloney in 2020.
As you prepare to exercise your right to vote in the Democratic primary in NY-12, join us to hear the candidates address the crucial issues facing our city and our country, from inflation and the war in Ukraine to gun control, abortion, climate change and the culture wars.
With:
Carolyn Maloney
Jerry Nadler
Suraj Patel
