Are Gad Elmaleh and Charlotte Casiraghi Splitting Up?

In 2013, hot on the heels of that other Royal Wedding, we Jews were treated to a princess fairy tale of our own. French-Moroccan (and Jewish!) comedian Gad Elmaleh announced Charlotte Casiraghi, Grace Kelly’s granddaughter and niece of King Albert of Monaco. What’s more, they were expecting a child.
Our own royal baby, Raphael, was born on December 17, 2013. (And was promptly baptized.)
But alas, fairy tales are just that, and the happy ever after is rarely the end of the story. According to French magazine Voici, Elmaleh and Casiraghi are headed to splitsville. (Could it be Mamie Elmaleh wasn’t too pleased about that whole baptism thing?)
The 29-year-old heiress has reportedly moved out of the Paris apartment shared by the couple and moved back to Monaco, with baby Raphael in tow. The magazine also states that their Los Angeles home is now for sale.
Despite these reports, nothing has actually been confirmed. In fact, only last month, Elmaleh gave an interview to Swiss daily “20 Minutes,” describing his newfound familial bliss.
So, are they? Aren’t they? We’ll keep you posted.
