Milo Yiannopoulos Slams ‘Thick As Pig-S**t Media Jews’

Breitbart News editor Milo Yiannopoulos lobbed anti-Semitic insults at a BuzzFeed reporter in a talk in December, given as part of his “Dangerous Faggot” tour of American college campuses.
Yiannopoulos told fans at Minnesota State University that Joe Bernstein, a media writer at BuzzFeed News, represents “a typical example of a sort of thick-as-pig shit media Jew, who has all these sort of right, P.C. politics.”
Bernstein and his ilk, Yiannopoulus continued, have “Totally predictable opinions on absolutely everything. But really stupid. And seems to be driven by social acceptance and political correctness, rather than actually telling an interesting story or doing anything worthwhile.” Yiannopoulos’s maternal grandmother is Jewish, so according to Jewish law, he is, too, but he was raised Catholic. He is originally from Britain.
He attacked Bernstein in connection with the writer’s criticism of the television show, “Million Dollar Extreme Presents: World Peace,” which aired on Adult Swim and was canceled due to its off-color content, which included its creator and host Sam Hyde appearing on camera in blackface. The program attracted fans on the “alt-right,” who praised it on Reddit, Twitter and other social media.
Yiannopoulos, who identifies as a fellow traveler, if not member of the “alt-right,” has gained attention and notoriety with the rise of the movement and the victory of President-elect Donald Trump, whom he refers to as “Daddy.” He inked a book deal with Simon & Schuster last week that will give him a $250,000 advance on a volume to be published in March.

Did you know that only 2% of Forward readers donate to support our nonprofit newsroom? That 2% make it possible for millions to read the Forward without a paywall or subscription — removing any barriers to the full and fair Jewish story.
But while the Forward is free to read, it isn’t free to produce. Big stories — like deep dives into the antisemitism data, political scoops or reporting trips to college campuses — take months of research and fact-checking. All while we keep you informed of what you need to know each day.
