New Michael Solomonov Joint to Donate Profits

Powered by a that exceeded its goal by 20%, Philadelphia star-chef Michael Solomonov and two partners will launch Rooster Soup Company in early 2016.

The very admirable gimmick: All net profits will support Broad Street’s Hospitality Collaborative, which feeds needy Philadelphians.

Solomonov, with partner Steve Cook, is the culinary wiz behind Philly hotspots Zahav, Abe Fisher and Federal Donuts, and the author of “Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking.”
