Jewish Legislator Finds Swastika in Manhattan Apartment Building

Jew hatred hit home Wednesday night for New York State Senator Brad Hoylman, who found a swastika carved into a wall in his apartment building and posted it to Twitter.

The “Anti-Semite” he mentioned was Steve Bannon, the former head of Breitbart News, to the post of chief White House strategist.
Prominent individuals and Jewish organizations have defended Bannon from such charges, stating that he is a Zionist and a friend to Jewish colleagues, but others criticize him because he worked to make Breitbart into the “platform of the alt-right,” the preferred name for a movement of white nationalists and other racists, including Jew haters.
Hoylman, the State Senate’s only gay Jewish member, received support from New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio, who tweeted his disgust in response to the swastika.
@BradHoylman, millions of New Yorkers stand with you tonight against anti-Semitism. Hate has no place in NYC. #NotInOurCity
