NEW JERSEY
Born in 1945 in Baghdad, raised in Israel and a New York resident since 1975, Zigi Ben-Haim perhaps has his geographical history to thank for his talent at piecing together disparate elements and arriving at visually integrated three-dimensional sculptures. Opening May 18, “Journey With Me” brings some 13 sculptures — made mainly from stainless steel, metal mesh and copper tubing — and four paintings to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton.
Grounds for Sculpture, 18 Fairgrounds Road, Hamilton; May 18-July 13; Tue.-Sun. 10 a.m.-9 p.m.; prices vary by day $3-$10. (609-586-0616)

Now more than ever, American Jews need independent news they can trust, with reporting driven by truth, not ideology. We serve you, not any ideological agenda.
At a time when other newsrooms are closing or cutting back, the Forward has removed its paywall and invested additional resources to report on the ground from Israel and around the U.S. on the impact of the war, rising antisemitism and the protests on college campuses.
