Emily Ratajkowski Defends Melania Trump From ‘Slut-Shaming’ Journalist
Emily Ratajkowski is slamming a New York Times journalist for reportedly calling Melania Trump a “hooker.”
“Sat next to a journalist from the NYT last night who told me ‘Melania is a hooker,’” the 25-year-old Jewish model/actress tweeted on Monday morning. “Whatever your politics it’s crucial to call this out for what it is: slut shaming.”
She added: “I don’t care about her nudes or sexual history and no one should. Gender specific attacks are disgusting sexist bullshit.”

The “Gone Girl” actress, who has spoken out against President Trump’s stance on abortion and immigration, is an outspoken supporter of female empowerment.
In a piece penned for Lena Dunham’s newsletter “Lenny” last year, Ratajkowski discussed the backlash women face when they choose to own their sexuality.
“I refuse to live in this world of shame and silent apologies,” she wrote. “Life cannot be dictated by the perceptions of others, and I wish the world had made it clear to me that people’s reactions to my sexuality were not my problems, they were theirs.”
