מיט יאָרן צוריק האָב איך גערעדט מיט אַ ייִד, וואָס האָט אין זײַנע 20ער איבערגעלעבט טערעזין, דער דײַטשישער קאָנצענטראַציע־לאַגער, וווּהין מע האָט פֿאַרשיקט די פּראָגער ייִדן. ער האָט מיר דערציילט אַן אינטערעסאַנטן און טרויעריקן אַנעקדאָט: אין פּראָג, ווי אויך אין טערעזין, האָט זיך פֿאַרשפּרייט אַ קלאַנג, אַז אַ גרופּע ייִדן, בראָש מיט אַ רבֿ, גראָבן בײַם טײַך וולאַטווע, כּדי צו געפֿינען די רעשטלעך פֿונעם אַמאָליקן גולם און אים אויפֿלעבן. דער ייִד האָט צו יענער צײַט אַליין ניט געוווּסט, וויפֿל מענטשן האָבן פֿאַרשפּרייט דעם קלאַנג ווי אַ וויץ, און וויפֿל האָבן אים גענומען ערנסט.

אָט דער סיפּור־המעשׂה ווערט אָפּגעשפּיגלט אין אַן אַרגענטינער פֿילם אויף ייִדיש, אין וועלכן דער ייִדישער אַקטיאָר מאַקס בערלינער שפּילט אַ פּראָגער רבֿ, וואָס איז מסוגל צו שאַפֿן אַ גולם גלײַך איידער די דײַטשן כאַפּן אים. וואָס געשעט ווײַטער נעמט אַרײַן עלעמענטן פֿון דער אַלטער פֿאָלקס־מעשׂה וועגן דעם גולם און דעם פּראָגער מהר”ל, אָבער האָט זייער אַן אַנדער סוף.
