Abe Foxman’s Son Steps Down as Editorial Director of InStyle Magazine

Ariel Foxman — the son of Abe Foxman, the former National Director at the Anti-Defamation League — has announced that he will be stepping down as editorial director at InStyle magazine on August 4, after serving in the position for eight years.

Opening up in an interview with WWD, Foxman said, “I’ve been with this brand for many, many years. This year in particular it’s been really exciting — challenging and exciting at the same time.”

Foxman, who has worked at Time Inc. for 15 years, wore many different hats at the organization and is credited for his digital savvy. “I asked myself, ‘What do I want to be doing next? What opportunities do I want to explore?” he said in the interview, adding, “For me, it’s really about creating incredible content for engaged audiences.”

Foxman kept mum on what his next steps were going to be but did say that he wanted to take “what I’ve learned and apply it elsewhere,” suggesting that he would like to write more and even return to covering men’s fashion.

Among the snaps with Hollywood’s A-listers, Foxman also shared some touching, and even funny, photos with his father.

Like father, like son … HAPPY FATHER’S DAY weekend, Dad. Love ya! #fathersday
