Rumors Arise of Jewish Emancipation by Russian Czar

Jewish Emancipation by the Czar?

A number of interested parties that are participants in the current European war are courting the Jews of the Pale of Settlement. Correspondents in St. Petersburg have reported that the Russian government is not averse to giving its Jews full civil rights and equality, just like other citizens. While the Russian government has announced nothing of the sort, it is well known that news published by foreign correspondents must be submitted to the censor, and if Russian censors are permitting the publication of such news, there may be something to it. In connection to this information, the Austrian government is telling the Jews not to believe the news of possible Jewish emancipation under the czar, and issued a proclamation declaring that under Austrian rule, the Jews of the Pale will be given complete civil rights.

Hitler’S Real War Against Judaism**

Hitler has declared war against the Jewish people. In his proclamation announcing the war to the German people, he declared that “Jewish Democracy” is what forced the war on Germany. Hitler declared war on the Jews long ago, and he’s been fighting it for quite a while — with his poisonous anti-Semitic propaganda. And not just propaganda: His Brownshirts made pogroms against Jews and Judaism. But only when he came to power did he make the extermination of the Jews a fundamental principle of the Third Reich. At the time, he had another basis for his attacks on the Jewish people: he wanted to save the Jews from Jewish communism. But now Hitler has to find another excuse for his war against the Jews.

The Establishment of the PLO

A conference currently being held in Alexandria, Egypt, and attended by the leaders of 13 Arab countries has decided to create a “Palestine Liberation Organization,” which will target the country of Israel. A report from Cairo said that Egypt is prepared to provide a large section of Gaza to serve as a military base. In addition, nearly $3 million will be provided for administrative expenses for the organization, although it was not decided how much each country would contribute. It has also not yet been decided if a Palestinian Arab army will be created. Ahmad Shukeiri was chosen as head of the new PLO, despite the opposition of Saudi Arabia.
