In his new memoir, James G. Robinson shares his experience as a parent of a medically complicated child, explaining why their time together was such a profound privilege. It offers valuable lessons about the mysterious ways in which the body forms and grows, giving life; how we find the faith to live with our decisions, even if the consequences are beyond our control; and our extraordinary capacity—when something goes wrong—to compensate and heal. James Robinson will explore these themes and more in conversation with Jodi Rudoren.
This event is hosted in partnership with the JCC of Scotch Plains and the Vasser Club of NJ.
