Iran: If Attacked, U.S., Israel Could Be Targeted
Iran’s military chief told Iranian TV Tuesday that the United States and Israel are vulnerable to retaliatory attacks, if Iran is the target of a military strike.
Brigadier General Masoud Jazayer, in an interview with Iran’s Press TV, said that the regime “brushes aside” the United States’ carrot-and-stick approach toward its nuclear program.
If Iran is attacked, U.S. troops abroad could be targeted, Iran’s ambassador to Russia said Wednesday.
This week, the Obama administration tightened sanctions on Iran’s central bank, which an Iranian foreign ministry spokesman said “will not have any impact on our nuclear course.”
