Palestinian Mother, Daughter Arrested For Planning Terror Attack On Israelis

A Palestinian mother and daughter were arrested on suspicion of planning to carry out a terrorist attack, incitement and illegal possession of a weapon.

The 16-year-old daughter, a resident of the West Bank, called a police station and stated that she planned to carry out an attack on Israeli citizens. Following the call, an investigation began to track down the teen.

Israel Police said in a statement that they brought her and her mother in for questioning. The teen’s 48-year-old mother had posted a video online shooting an automatic rifle.

“Police are acting against calls for violence and terrorism, which is done throughout the Internet while using social network platforms, and might lead others to act the same way and harm innocent people,” the statement continued.
