WATCH: Trump Insults ‘Wacky Jacky’ Rosen In Nevada

Channeling the skills that he honed over seasons of “The Apprentice” (though not the skills of civil debate), President Donald Trump went to Nevada to stump for Republican senate candidate Dean Heller. Brushing off the immigration furor that has surrounded his administration for the past week, he chose to tease and play with the crowd in baiting the state Democratic opposition.
As the incumbent in a state that Hillary Clinton won in 2016, Heller is one of the Democrat’s top targets. His opponent, Jacky Rosen — a member of the U.S. Congress from Nevada’s 3rd District — was president of Ner Tamid, her Reform Jewish synagogue in Las Vegas, and cited tikkun olam as a key part of her decision to enter politics.
At a stump speech for Heller, Trump dubbed Rosen as “Wacky Jacky” before going on to use the racial slur “Pocohontas” about Elizabeth Warren who is reportedly campaigning with Rosen.
Rosen told the political website The Hill: “The President is attacking me with lies and petty insults because I’m not afraid to stand up to him… Dean Heller has been a rubber stamp for Donald Trump in Washington, caving to the President’s divisive agenda at Nevada’s expense. This was Senator Heller’s reward for his loyalty.”
