Rashida Tlaib On Instagram: Uncle Bernie Gets Me

Representative Rashida Tlaib and Senator Bernie Sanders shared their similarly progressive ideals over dinner Wednesday night.

Tlaib and Sanders posed for a selfie, which she posted to Instagram.

“I had dinner with Amo (Uncle) Bernie tonight! We talked about my passion for economic justice and fighting for corporations to pay their fair share. This man gets me.”

Tlaib was recently accused of dual loyalty after jumping off a tweet by Sanders, which referred to a proposed bill that would protect states working against the BDS movement.
