Since 2009, Scott Kaufman has served as the CEO of the Jewish Federation of Metropolitan Detroit. Previously, he served as director of strategic initiatives. For 10 years prior to becoming professionally affiliated with the Federation, Kaufman served as a lay leader, helping establish the Young Adult Mission to Israel Initiative and developing the Federation’s volunteer base as president of the Young Adult Division. He received the 2008 Pappas Innovative Idea Award and the 2005 Frank A. Wetsman Award.
