Amy Schumer’s Trump Bashing Caused 200 Fans to Walk Out — Out of 10,000

Amy Schumer’s Donald Trump zingers didn’t quite land in the swing state of Florida this weekend.
According to the Tampa Bay Times, roughly 200 people walked out of her stand-up performance on Sunday after the comedian called the Republican nominee a “orange, sexual-assaulting, fake-college-starting monster.”
The venue holds about 10,000 people, meaning the disgruntled group amounted to about 2% of the total.
Schumer was met with boos, and later invited a Trump fan up onto the stage to explain his reasoning behind voting for the businessman.
“Do you get worried at all with how impulsive he is,” Schumer asked, “that he gets so fired up from ‘Saturday Night Live’ doing a skit on him … do you worry he’ll be impulsive and get us in a lot of f—-ing trouble we can’t get out of?”
She also reportedly poked fun of Trump’s lewd genital grabbing comments.
“You know what I love? A famous guy that will just take me furniture shopping and just straight up grab my p—-y.”
The comedian asked security to escort boo-ers out of the theatre, and told those who were offended by her remarks that they could also leave. Many obliged.
“The show became political. I definitely didn’t come to hear this,” Ryan Atwood, one of the night’s attendees, told the Tampa Bay Times.
The comedian certainly had politics on her mind when she touched down in Florida this past week. Schumer was on hand to help register people to vote, posting pictures of herself on Instagram donning a Hillary Clinton pin.
As for her naysayers in the crowd? She couldn’t really be bothered. “All love Tampa,” Schumer tweeted.
