Fox Apologizes for Jesus Poll
The Latin American division of Fox has apologized for a poll which asked whether Jews killed Jesus.
The poll was posted on the Fox Spanish-language Facebook page. The poll asked “Who do you think is responsible for the death of Christ,” and gave three choices for the answer, including “Jewish People.” The other possible answers were Pontius Pilate and High Priests.
The poll, which was promoting a National Geographic Channel Christmas special, was removed following the apology, according to reports citing the Associated Press.
The Simon Wiesenthal Center in Buenos Aires reportedly slammed the poll. It pointed out that the Vatican annulled the idea that Jews killed Jesus in 1965.
