Three men driving in a white pickup truck threw nitrous oxide canisters and yelled anti-Semitic slurs at three Orthodox Jews in London.
The incident occurred in a north London shopping center Wednesday evening, according to The Standard. No injuries were reported.
The men allegedly shouted “Hitler is on the way to you, Heil Hitler, Heil Hitler, Heil Hitler” before hurling the canisters of the nitrous oxide, commonly known as laughing gas, at the two men and a woman attired in “traditional religious” clothes, The Standard reported.
Michael Blayer, a volunteer with the Jewish neighborhood watch group Shomrim, described the incident as “appalling” and said the targets were visibly Jewish.
“The verbal abuse was disgusting, and small objects were thrown towards the victims, making them fear for their immediate safety,” he said.
