Ivanka Trump and Jared Kushner like many Jews took a vacation for Passover. But their weeklong trip to a deluxe Canadian ski resort was different in one respect: it came with a heavy price tag in costs for the Secret Service.
According to government recordst, the security agency spent $66,538.42 on hotel costs for agents and multi-day ski passes so the agents could watch the first family out on the slopes. The retreat took place at the Four Seasons Resort and Residences in British Columbia.
Trump, a White House special assistant, and Kushner, an administration senior adviser, took their children along with them. It was not the first ski trip of the season - Kushner and Trump took a ski vacation to Aspen in March. Complete expense records from that trip are not yet available.
