Jacob Schwartz, a 29-year-old Democratic activist and New York City government worker, faces child pornography charges after police found thousands of photos and videos of naked children on his computer.
Schwartz is an employee of the city’s Department of Design and Construction. He is also president of the Manhattan Young Democrats, according to the New York Post. His father, Arthur Schwartz, an attorney, is also a Democratic activist.
Police found pornographic images of infant girls on Jacob Schwartz’s phone, the Post reported.
“I understand these are serious charges,” Arthur Schwartz told the Post. “He’s already in therapy for this.”
