A contingent of religious Jews lined up on a highway near Donald Trump’s home at his Mar-a-Lago resort in South Florida to thank him for commuting the sentence of Sholom Rubashkin.
Trump commuted Rubashkin’s sentence Wednesday night. Rubashkin was serving a 27 year sentence for committing fraud as owner of a major kosher meat processing plant in Postville, Iowa.
Carrying signs and accompanied by cameramen, men in black fedoras waited for Trump to depart from the airport on his way to his estate.
