A Boston Red Sox player posted on Instagram to share his pro-gun stance — with a photo of Hitler, the New York Post reported.
A dug-up 2013 Instagram post by star player J.D. Martinez features a photo of the German dictator next to his 1933 quote, “To conquer a nation, First disarm it’s (sic) citizens.”
“This is why I always stay strapped! #thetruth,” Martinez captioned it.
When he posted the photo, Martinez was 25 and early in his baseball career, according to the Post. He has not deleted the Instagram and or commented about it.
