SHORTCUTS
Jewish mothers can be meddlers, but that doesn’t mean that they can’t have good taste. Jeremy Piven, who plays the devilish but lovable Ari Gold on the hit HBO series “Entourage,” appeared on “The Tonight Show With Jay Leno” on June 16. His mother tuned in and liked what she saw. “Who was that attractive woman sitting next to you?” she asked. “You made such a nice couple.”
“Mom, that’s Lindsey Lohan, and she’s 18,” the 40-year-old actor replied, according to a recent item published by the London-based World Entertainment News Network.
That said, Piven and his mother did not exactly disagree. “She’s the ultimate shiksa goddess,” Piven told the news service, “but I prefer a curvier, more zaftig woman.”
