Passover Cracker Crisis Looms
Tam Tam lovers will be sorely disappointed when they hit the grocery stores to stock up on their favorite kosher-for-Passover crackers. Manischewitz will not be producing the hexagon-shaped matzo snacks this year, due to construction delays at its new digs in Newark, N.J., the New Jersey Jewish News reported. At first, The Shmooze was skeptical of the news, but after several unsuccessful attempts at locating Tam Tams in kosher stores and larger markets in New York City, we are now convinced that there is indeed a shortage.
