Do Non-Orthodox Jews Have A Marriage Problem?

In the latest episode of the Jewish Channel’s Salon, the Forward’s editor-in-chief Jane Eisner and Change the Ratio’s Rachel Sklar tackle Israel’s new ban on skinny models, gun control, the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade and non-Orthodox Jews’ marriage problem. Joining them were Meredith Goldstein, author of the “The Singles” and the “Love Letters” column in The Boston Globe; Jo Miller, Staff Writer for “The Daily Show with Jon Stewart,” and Katie Orenstein, Founder & CEO of The OpEd Project.

What topics should the Salon take on next month? Leave your ideas in the comments below, and check back next month for another roundtable discussion with Eisner, Sklar and their guests.

A message from our editor-in-chief Jodi Rudoren

We're building on 127 years of independent journalism to help you develop deeper connections to what it means to be Jewish today.

With so much at stake for the Jewish people right now — war, rising antisemitism, a high-stakes U.S. presidential election — American Jews depend on the Forward's perspective, integrity and courage.
