Culinary Cabaret

The Thalia Follies returns to Symphony Space for the fourth year in a row to take on a meaty subject: food.

TASTY TREAT: This year's Talia Follies focuses on food

The political cabaret series, created by Isaiah Sheffer and Martin Sage, includes a number of sketches that speak directly to members of the tribe. The Food Follies includes songs about Zabar’s, Artie’s Delicatessen, egg creams and a “Shiksa’s Seder.” There is also a tribute to beloved New York City restaurants that are no longer with us.

Symphony Space, Leonard Nimoy Thalia theater, 2537 Broadway (at 95th St.); Nov. 19, 6:30 p.m. &, 8:30 p.m.; $25, $20 members, $30 the day of the show. (212-864-1414 or www.symphonyspace.org)
