Israeli Swimsuit Model Gets Shout-Out in New Kanye Song

It might be the most daring lyric in the history of rap: an attempt at making something rhyme with “Ginzburg.”
But as he’s proven in numerous songs and public appearances, Kanye West is nothing if not bold, and he almost manages to pull off the “swerve/Ginzburg” couplet in one of his latest songs, “Christian Dior Denim Flow.”
The “Ginzburg” in question is two-time Sports Illustrated swimsuit model Esti Ginzburg, an Israeli who gets her own shout-out in a song full of supermodel name dropping.
“I’m in the car with Leo and the Benz swerve/I heard Bar was friends with Esti Ginzburg,” West raps in the song, referring to Israeli supermodel Bar Refaeli and her boyfriend, Leonardo DiCaprio. The song also name-checks, among others, Victoria’s Secret model Alessandra Ambrosia and former Bond girl Olga Kurylenko.
West released “Christian Dior Denim Flow” following the leak of other tracks from his next album, “My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy.” Scheduled for release in November, the album is likely to be one of the biggest sellers of the fall.
