NYC — The rabbi behind the Hogwarts Haggadah will be interviewed by comedian Elon Gold at a very magical official launch party at SAR in Riverdale. No, you’re not too old for this. Light refreshments will be served.
NYC — Free Pizza, Beer, Documentary n’ Chill: Join Sixth Street Synagogue for a screening of “Streit’s: Matzo and the American Dream.” The film is a story of tradition, of resistance and resilience, and a celebration of the Streits family, whose commitment to their heritage and to their employees is inspiring proof that the family that bakes together, stays together. The director Michael Levine will be on hand for a post-film discussion.

NYC — After 12 years writing “The Ethicist” for The New York Times Magazine, Randy Cohen has a new project, Person Place Thing, an interview show in which one guest tells three insightful and often hilarious stories. On Wednesday, Cohen will interview Jonathan Greenblatt, CEO of the ADL, at the JCC Manhattan.
